Short Hair Pictures, Ideas and How-To Guides
Summer Hairstyles for Fine Hair
While some women lament about having thick hair, saying that it’s impossible to do anything with, many women find that having fine hair isn’t the blessing that some think it is. Indeed, fine hair can be very difficult to style, because if you’re not careful, you can look like your hair is either stringy or falling out. Here’s some ideas for fine hair this summer to help you look your best.
Jessica Alba Medium Short Fine Hair

When choosing a haircut, opt for something short. Even if you have a round face, you can wear a short hairstyle without making your face seem rounder. A stylist can help you find something that will suit your face shape. Why should you choose a short style? Short haircuts will draw attention to your face and away from fine hair. If you want a longer style, make sure you use a lightweight conditioner, and choose styles that will work well with fine hair.

Another great style idea for fine hair is to get layered haircuts. The great thing about layers is that they add volume to your hair. Layers allow more air to get into your hair, giving you more lift. You need more volume at the top of your hair than anywhere else, because this will give you the illusion of fullness, and no one will even know that you have fine hair. Layered cuts are great for any shape face, and as long as you don’t use a lot of styling products or a leave in conditioner that will weigh your hair down, you’ll be able to look your best this summer.

Short Spring Hairstyle Ideas for 2011
Many people opt for something new when spring arrives. Spring makes everything seem new – there are new flowers, baby animals, and even the sky seems brand new on a clear day. Perhaps it’s the effects of a long and dreary winter, but spring always requires something brand new. New hairstyles are often added to people’s budgets in the spring, and for good reason – a new cut can set the pace for your entire spring and summer, not to mention, and good short cut can make it a lot easier to get out the door and enjoy the sun.

Medium Bob
If you don’t want to cut your hair extremely short, you could opt for the medium bob. Many A-list celebrities are wearing this style, and it’s perfect for just about everyone. If you have doubts, you can always go online and use a virtual makeover to see how you might look, and be sure to talk to your stylist. You can be right in fashion if you want to add side swept bangs but you can just as easily look great without bangs and with layers.

Pixie Cut
A pixie cut is great for those who want a very short style. It’s incredibly easy to maintain, especially if your hair is naturally straight. Pixies are not the hairstyle for everyone, so be sure you discuss with your stylist whether a pixie cut is for you. This is a great style for those who want to let their hair grow out over the warmer months so that it’s a bit longer by the time fall and winter arrives.

Sharon Stone Latest Short Hair Fashion Style
The “A Smile For Every Child” gala was held at the Shangri-la Hotel in Santa Monica, California. Sharon Stone was one of the many attendees. She looked great in her simple outfit.

Sharon wore a tank style, knee-length dress that was khaki colored. The neckline was a low cut V-neck. On the sides were swaths of khaki material that swooped up and attached at the lowest point of the neckline. They then fell along her sides in loose waves. They started below her breastbone and ended above the hipbone while drifting down to hang a bit lower than the end of her skirt in the back; it was a very interesting and creative style. The dress did not show her curves off so much as it hinted at them, giving her a very feminine and attractive look. She wore light brown wedge high heel sandals that were very flattering. Her accessories were very simple, and for Sharon, less was more. She wore an attractive silver and gold bangle bracelet and carried a khaki and golden-brown clutch purse. She looked wonderful, coordinated, and very much in control of everything.

She wore a little blush and dark pink lipstick. Her eyes were lined top and bottom in black and she wore a little mascara. She looked wonderfully classy.

Comb Over Haircuts
Men might think that it is a bit embarrassing to loose some of their hair. The fact of the matter is, hair loss is something that is completely all natural. It has also been medically proven that hair loss and baldness are genetic. If you are losing your hair and you want to hide the fact, try a comb over. The comb over hairstyle may seem like a cheesy and outdated style but the truth is there are plenty of styles for the comb over. Take a look and see for yourself.
Jude Law Latest Short Haircut

The first style that you can find for the comb over is your basic style. This is where the hair is taken from one side and combed over to the other side. Make sure that you choose the side that will be most comfortable for you. If that style does not work out for you, move onto the next one. If your hair is long enough in the back, you may be able to pull that hair to the front. The main thing that you need to remember is you are trying to cover your bald spot. If you are having some trouble finding the right comb over style, you may want to turn to your barber and see what they might suggest.
Do not be ashamed of your baldness. If you are a single man, you be surprised at the amount of women who are attracted to the bald man. Try out a few comb over styles and find the one that looks best on you.

2009 – The Year for Radical Short Haircuts?
2009 is now upon us and what a year it has been already? The first black president was elected in the United States, the economy has hit an all time low in many places around the world and hairstyles on our very favorite celebrities are getting more and more radical!

First of all the end of 2008 saw an increase in celebrities opting for the short bobbed look, nicknamed the “Pob” after Victoria Beckham. Katie Holmes then followed this trend as did Jenni Falconer, UK presenter. After this came the even shorter cropped look, usually styled long at the front and close to the head at the back, well styled by the undeniably fashionable Rihanna and then followed closely by Victoria Beckham again.

It was in fact this Posh Spice that set the real trend for this look with the most recent Armani advertisement showing a very sultry and toned Victoria in her underwear. This look was followed by Katie Holmes resorting to the boyish cropped look which Agynes Deyn also fashioned.

The trend for 2009 seems to be the shorter the better and it is almost following the punk trend that only the most dedicated would sport. Longer fringes worn sexily over one eye and very short layers at the back is the look to have if you want to be in trend for 2009 and if you are not brave enough to try such a daring look then the bob is currently celebrating its 100th birthday so perhaps it’s time to chop off those long flowing locks!

How to Wear Short Haircut and Look Good
Short hair seems to be a trend with celebrities at the moment with more than just a few of them going for the various bob looks that are out. Rihanna for example, has set the trend for super short hair while stars such as Paris Hilton and Katie Holmes are rocking the chin-length bob. However, if you are looking for short hair to accentuate your facial features, there are a few things that you should bear in mind.

First of all, if you are a tall woman with rather a stocky build then short hair can look rather masculine on you unless you have a very feminine style with curls or add cute accessories such as pretty hair clips, bows or hair bands. For figures such as these, a longer length style is better that still incorporates the short appeal for example, hair that is longer at the front and shorter at the back, very much like Victoria Beckham was seen sporting.

Women with a fuller figure or those with rather large faces should also go for this look as well as a round bobbed hairstyle can make the face look fuller still. Those with thin and narrow faces should try to go for bangs that split the face in half as such and the same goes for women with rather pronounced foreheads.

Pointy jaws look even pointier with short haircuts that fall directly at the chin so longer or shorter styles are better suggested for these and if this jaw line is combined with pretty eye, a short hairstyle with more of a sweeping fringe can have a better appeal.
