As well as the bob, which we all associate with shorter hair, you can experiment with different variations such as the graduated bob or “Pob” as it is now known after Victoria Beckham quite famously showed off the cute look in the earlier stages of the last year. Should I Wear Short Hair?

With so many celebrities these days going for a rather dramatic short hair style such as those adorned by Victoria Beckham, Katie Holmes and the pop princess, Rihanna, it begs for the question, “Can anyone really have short hair?”

There are certain hair types which are renowned for holding short hair beautifully. Thin and fine hair for example is able to pull off short hair as it seems to fill out the shorter it gets and therefore giving the impression of thicker and better looking hair.

Medium and course hair also has the advantages of being able to pull off short styles as it is well suited to most haircuts and shapes whereas heavy and thick hair is better suited for slightly longer lengths otherwise it may have the problem of not hanging around the face as it should.

There is also certain face shapes that are better suited to short hair and a heart shaped one is a prime example of this. If you look at the beautiful stars such as Victoria Beckham and Rihanna, they have hints of a heart shape within their face which is why they manage to pull the look off so well. Oval faces are also blessed with the ability to have shorter hair lengths whereas square faces cannot generally pull off shorter styles and those that fall below the chin are much better suited.
